IBJs are assembled within our modern factory at our site in Doncaster. Built in 2007, our facility remains the only purpose-built factory of its type in the UK.
HRS’s highly skilled staff assemble joints in a clean, temperature controlled environment, employing state-of-the-art machinery. We have the expertise to manufacture IBJs using a range of rail profiles and grades, for supply in rail infrastructures both in the UK and overseas.
We regularly assemble IBJs up to 25 metres in length and have the capability to manufacture bespoke joints. We also manufacture coated, twisted, and pre-curved IBJs for a range of applications. .
Awarded with Network Rail Product Acceptance for the assembly of block joints for all grades of 60E2, 56E1 and 95lb Bull Head rails, the HRS IBJ assembly process is certified and audited by BSI to their internationally recognised quality management standard ISO 9001-2015.
